Abstract. - Systems electronic locks are a set of elements
that are currently used to provide greater security to our
homes, offices, etc.
Our system will feature opening fingerprint and password 4digit code, plus a remote opening system and a database
record revenues and expenditures.
Our goal at the end will learn, understand and implement a
system of electronic locks by fingerprint reader, keyboard
and mechanically, in addition to implement it so it can be
handled via the Internet from anywhere remotely and safely.

I. INTRODUCTION
The technology has developed by leaps and bounds for
a specific control, call automation. Home automation is
a set of systems capable of automating a specific
enclosure, providing energy services, safety, comfort
and welfare.
The control of this system is located is both internal and
external strategic locations.
As technology advances, after having security systems
telephone and carry no automatic task or following a
communication cable carrier current; has today reached
its wirelessly, such as radio frequency or digital form,
either Bluetooth or wireless internet networks.
Much of it is focused on security, which globally is a
need to restrict access and protect property. For this
purpose, they have alarm systems that consist of access
control by magnetic card. Another type of lock would
be the combination of mechanical lock with electronic
control and safety systems, as well as the use of a key
and a key (physical or electronic card) to provide greater
security; however, they may be rare because a user
needs quick to access your site.

You can also find locking systems and access control

using biometrics, where it is stored and documented a
physical characteristic of the person, so that it and/or
unauthorized access. This new method increases the
level of security and speed for the user, solving the issue
of loss of keys, password, among other input modes.
Actuating mechanism for a customized system so that it
has control inputs and outputs of users duty. For it is
budgeted that the system has an internal clock, which
takes the time of day; It is immediately notified the
principal in charge of the laboratory.
It is noteworthy that through this project is to present all
possible alternatives for a lock system, in order to
design an efficient, optimal, automated and 100 %
secure system; providing comfort and safety to the user.
Every human being has the basic need to feel safe,
however, in our country, some years ago, it has been
increasing the rate of insecurity, which has become a
problem to which we must pay close attention and
devote time to think about how to remedy this problem,
which embraces all regardless of economic status.
This issue raises many economic losses to those
affected, thus affecting the economic development of
the country. Indifference and inability of the state to
find a solution, has led people to seek on their own be
sure, leading them to use tools that provide greater
protection and security in their homes to care for their
heritage.
Thanks to technological progress that has occurred in
recent years, are being implemented devices that people
can have more control over their property, taking into
account these, the strength of the material, monitoring
and control, intelligent systems, system notice should
be handled by an unknown person. These devices are
called electronic locks, which can use code, card and /
or fingerprint for the opening of these. Each having its

advantages and disadvantages that will be discussed the

reasons with which the system will be designed
electronic locks.
II. SYSTEM LOCKS TO BE IMPLEMENTED
The work to be done in our project will be to design,
develop and build a system that will open the locks on
the office doors of the Laboratory of Automatic Control
Systems, taking into account the different cases and
situations mentioned above, through different ways,
either by entering a 4-digit password, a fingerprint or
opening from anywhere via an Internet connection
(remote opening).
Using a keyboard, the 4-digit code will be entered and
fingerprint will be done through a fingerprint reader
device.
The user will enter their mark and code (both for safety),
which have said previously recorded in a database used
to program the system.
