PRECISION Trade Compliance provides the tools to maintain an effective trade compliance program for any type of shipment. Domestic,
international, import or export, our customers are able to automate and audit processes and business rules to ensure due diligence with incountry regulatory programs or cross-border customs requirements.
With multiple screening points available, many types of data and transactions can be included such as address master data, ad hoc
compliance checks (e.g., for visitors) and orders. Transactions can be checked at any time during their life cycle to capture changes to
restricted party lists, licenses or data integrity that may have occurred between the start and the conclusion of the transaction.

Compliance and Trade Content

Precision Software has a team of dedicated content professionals responsible for monitoring changes to trade regulations and published
lists. Content changes are issued daily to ensure our customers are constantly kept up-to-date with the latest content data from the everchanging government lists.

Trading Partners / Country Screening

Restricted Parties Intelligent Screening: PRECISION Trade Compliance allows you to effectively screen trading partners to
prevent doing business with those persons or entities that appear on the official lists published by government bodies and
agencies around the world. The screening engine uses a combination of fuzzy logic, partial and exact matching and a phonetic
algorithm (Soundex) to identify possible matches against the name and address details that are being checked. Matches are
scored, and based on system configuration for threshold levels the system determines whether further action is required.

Smart White Listing: When a name or address has been identified as being the same or similar to one on a denied party list,
and has already been manually checked and found to be in compliance, it can be put on a white list so that it will not repeatedly
fail.

Embargoes: There are certain destinations which are subject to trade sanctions, embargoes and other restrictions. PRECISION
Trade Compliance will check the transactions origin or destination to ensure that you are not attempting to trade with any
designated embargoed country.

License Determination and Management

For the import and export of goods or intellectual property, PRECISION Trade Compliance identifies line item license requirements, any
available exceptions for licenses, and has the ability stop a shipment of a controlled product. If a license is required and available, the
system will manage the license(s) by date, quantity and/or value and decrement against them accordingly.

Data Integrity and Product-related Compliance Checks

When shipping, particularly internationally, there are numerous pieces of information required to facilitate the movement of goods. Ensuring
that this information is available for each transaction can be a time consuming process. Therefore, data Integrity checks can be used to

identify missing and invalid data for transactions. There is a pre-defined list of checks provided which can be extended to as part of the
implementation;

Tariff Classification
Export Control Classification Number (ECCN)
Country of Origin
National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC)
ISO Country Codes

In addition to prescribed rules, the system supports configuring company-specific rules to control to whom and where products can be
shipped or purchased and the trading partners that are allowed.

Trade Partnership Questionnaires

Know your Customer. In todays security-conscious environment, PRECISION Trade Compliance helps manage trading partner
questionnaire responses for the processing of transactions relative to those partners. Depending upon risk tolerance and business
practices, orders without a Status Verification Interface Participant (SVIP) id number, or a satisfactorily completed C-TPAT or AEO survey,
can be blocked from further processing or the system can provide a warning to the appropriate individual/group for further actions.

Compliance Management Console

The compliance console provides information on the compliance screening carried out for a transaction. It identifies the compliance checks
that were performed and the outcome of each of these checks. It is possible to drill-down into the checks for detailed information and where
applicable there are links to the requisite regulations. The console is available to manage compliance issues for corrective action, and
provides users and managers with a centralized source of information for all checks performed and actions taken for a single transaction.

When hundreds or even thousands of orders need to be processed every day, it would be easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer volume.
PRECISION Trade Compliance makes it easy by presenting only issues and situations that need to be resolved via an e-mail alert. If an
order or shipment does not have a compliance failure or warning, it flows through the system without generating an alert.

Audit Trail and Reporting

PRECISION Trade Compliance creates a permanent audit trail of the compliance results associated with transactions that are processed in
the system. The system contains a number of reports and filter mechanisms which can be used for audit analysis and proof of due
diligence.

PRECISION Product Suite

The components of PRECISION Transportation Management, Global Trade Management, Trade Compliance and Package Exception
Management share a common platform and can share the same database, rules, workflows, and user interface.
