WHAT IS A PASSWORD?

A password is a code which allows you access to your

personal information.

It is also a code which prevents other people from accessing

it if not wanted.

WHAT ARE SECURITY DEVICES?

Security/protection devices are used in places such as

schools, homes

Some of these devices in places such as homes would

require a password to keep the household safe along with
the people inside.

Devices such as burglar alarms would signal the police that

somebody has broken in.

HOW TO CREATE A GOOD PASSWORD?

Your password is an extremely important source for your

social account or email from getting hacked.

So, to make a good or great password you would not want

to use some generic form of a password.

Something that does not involve your name would be fine.

You also want to have a password which involves no

information about you.

HOW CAN YOUR PASSWORD GET

CRACKED/STOLEN?

There are a lot of ways that someones password can be stolen.

Ex: Somebody can get lucky with a guess and this is why you want a
smart password.
Usually people would get hacked/password stolen with the use of
technology.
Ex: Small electronic devices such as skimmers are used to crack
passwords.

IMPACT OF HAVING PASSWORD

CRACKED/STOLEN

Credit/debit card holders are usually the ones to suffer the

most from losing password access to bank accounts.

Ex: In 2010, 8.1 million Americans had lost access to their

credit card information.

These 8.1 million Americans also were financially impacted

meaning lost all the money they had in their credit card.

As a whole having our passwords secure is vital.

If you dont protect our passwords then we

would suffer from all the things that we have
discussed about.

This all does not only have to do with social

media or bank accounts, this also has to do with
home security, school security which all have
passwords.

In 2014, a Russian group of hackers called CyberVor stole

information for 1.2 billion accounts across the internet.

This was also the largest hack of all time.

Identity theft can lead to not only losing passwords or

usernames but it can lead to knowing drivers license or
Social Security password.
