CertaintyVs.Doubt

Certaintyis,withoutadoubt,akeytosuccess.Forwithoutcertainty,thereisnoright,but
wrongs.Withallcertainty,therewillalwaysbedoubtsbecausenooneiseverfullycertainofan
idea.Thewaycertaintyanddoubtinterlocksandmergetogetherasoneisthatdoubtquestions
certainty.Doubtsarethosebuildingblocksforfindingcertaintyonanidea.Forexample,backin
theolddays,QueenElizabeth,Ibelieve,andeveryoneintheworldthoughtthattheworldwas
squareorcubed.NoonequestionedtheQueenbecauseofthehigherpower.Butthen
ChristopherColumbuscamealongbringingspicesback,sayingtheworldwascircularandround
ratherthancubedthatmaycausetoadropoutoftheworld.Everyonehadtheirdoubtsandthey
thoughtofColumbusascrazy,butthecertaintythatColumbushad,madehiscaseinproving
themallwrong.Hesetouttothecorneroftheearth,toprovethatthosedoubtsthepeopleand
theQueenherselfhasgivenhimwereproventobeincorrecttothecorrelationofhistripagain.

However,havingfullcertaintyisnotakeytosuccess,itisthefactthatdoubtsaboutcertainty
providesmoreinsightand,afterthat,evenmorecertaintyonanidea.
Havingthesedoubtsoncertaintymakescertaintyevenmorecertaininawaythatcreates
comprehensionwithall.Thosedoubtsleadstoquestionsandthosequestionsallarethrownright
onthecertaintyofanidea.Theideaofsurenessandabsolutelypositivestandingpointwhereno
onecanargue.Thewaycertaintyanddoubtworkswouldbelikehowapoliceordetectivewould
work.Theyrealikebecausebothhavethisideaofdoubtallinthebeginning.Thedoubtofan
idea,andforapolice,thedoubtofthemurderer,oroffenderofthelaw.Throughouttheirdoubts,
asmoredoubtsarestackedupononeanother,thecertaintycomestoanunsteadyposition,until
allofasuddenatotalcertaintyisobtained.Asapolice,theygoaroundfindingcluesandasking

challengesanddoubtsdealttothatsameidea,butwithanarrowmindedandstubbornperson,
itsliketalkingtoawall.Nomatterhowmuchyoutalktotheperson,noideasaregoingto
changetheirmind,itllonlycausethemtothinkoftheirideaandcertaintyasevenbetterthan
before.ThisgoesbacktoColumbus,withoutthosedoubts,everyonewouldvestillbelievedthat
theworldwascubed.However,withColumbuscertaintyduetothosedoubts,butalsopast
expertiseonsailing,heprovesthemtobeincorrectwiththeirinsufficientdata.

idea.Certaintymaybeofusetohave,butitisnotassufficientandimpactingashavingthe
benefitofthedoubt,assomepeoplewouldsay.Becausethereisbenefitwiththedoubts
assertedontotheidea,foritisthecertaintyobtainedafterallelseisdoubted.Thedoubtmakes
upforthequestionsandunsteadinessoftheideawhereitmakessomeonewonderandrethink
abouttheirownideas.Sowithoutdoubt,certainty,inaway,isjuststubbornness.Stubbornness
ofbeingfullycorrectandprovingotherstobeincorrect.Stubbornnessthatwillcauseonesmind
tobenarrow.Stubbornnesstogonowhereandlearnnothingmorethanwhathasbeenlearned.
Soinall,thedoubtscauseanimpactfulpushtothatideaofcertainty.Thecertaintythatisnever
tobefullycertain,butthoughtofascertain.Thesetwoconceptsarealwayspushingoneanother
uphigherandhighertoapointofstability,butonlyforawhile,becausewiththeaccessdoubt
has,itwillalwayspushonwardsthoseofcertainty.Pertainingtoanidea,suchasmath,therewill
alwaysbequestionsandwondersaboutwhatitreallyis.Mathissuchageneralidea,with
numbersandrulesapplicableformorenumbers,itsaneverendingprocesswithnumbers.As
onegrowsolderandage,mathbeginstobroadengreatly.Takeschoolforanexample,schoolisa
homeforlearningandaccessingmoreknowledgeandbepushedtoachievegreatly.Asa
kindergartener,numberswerejustsimplyonetoonehundred.Asagingproceedsonwards,math,
inaway,doesaswell.Goingintomiddleschool,mathnowhasfractions,decimals,variables
andallotherkindsofmathrelatedtopics.Mathkeepsbuildinghigherandhigher,andcertainty
getslowerandlower,forthedoubtofevenmorenewinformationaboutmathmightbetoomuch
tohandle.Inhighschoolaswell,therearenowimaginarynumbers,quadraticequations,and
formulastocomprehendandthatonlyincreasesdoubt.Theideaonmathinschoolcorrelatesto
thatofcertaintyanddoubt.Understandingmathatsomepoint,andfullybelievingthatthereis
nomoreconceptstolearnisthecertaintyobtainedwithoutanydoubtinmind.However,once
somethingcompletelynewisthrownintotheworldofmath,questionsarebuiltwithin,withthe
certaintyhadbefore,nowquestionedbythesenewconcepts.Thesedoubtsbuildupagainuntil
anotherstoppingpoint,forcertaintymaybefoundagain.Butthisshowsaneverendingcycleof
certaintyanddoubtpushingthecertaintytoitsfullest,andoverandoveragain,theconceptof
mathisincreasedgreatly,allinall,thisshowsthatwithcertaintycomesdoubtandwithdoubt

comescertainty.Thesetwoconceptsinterlocktoobtaincertainty,orwhatseemstobecertainty
atthemomentbeforedoubtpushesitswaybackinagain.
