Another water trap

-PC's have come to a 40 foot cliff ans can see a tunnen or hall way at the top...groves have been
carved into the rock making it easy to climb =(1)=
-at the top of the cliff is a hallway =(2)=
-The trap is set in this hallway 10' wide 100' long and 20' high.
-There are 2 doors 1 in each end which are open and conceled
-The walls, roof and floor are cut stone but the floor has a 1' diameter hole every 5' section.
-In the holes the PC's can see water about 1/2' below the surface...sticking their arm thru revelies
the floor is about a foot thick.
-The entire floor is a pressure plate that activates Reverse Gravity when 500lbs. of weight is
applyed - 2-3 PC's
-The doors are stone that slide down to open and are affected by reverse gravity...shutting them
by sliding up.
-The PC's take 2d10 points of falling dmg + 2d10 points of crushing dmg from the water...affective
death for low to mid lvl characters...decrese values for the height of the roof for low lvl characters.
-The surviving PC's can swim the length of the hall and open the door...
-there is enought water to fill the room all the way. The water chamber =(3)= is the same as the
hallway...so from the other side the water fill the holes the same....allowing smart PC's to stick
there head throu the hole to breathe
-if there are more PC's then the ones trapped inside they can open the door to let some water out
which needs a dex check (dc 20) to avoid knocking them off the cliff they just climbed which is a
40' drop
-any PC's that are caught in the doorway which has a 1'thick door take 2d10 dmg and are stuck if
not killed...they might drown because the gap under the door may not let enought water drain
out...PC's that are on the safe side of door when this happens have only dc10 dex check to make
- so its actually better for someone to be crushed......
-the PC's on the outside find that the same trap upside-down has had a passage open down the
cliff. =(4)=(5)=
-once they get to the other side they can meet up via stairs.
