Oversee Title I program for Mahwah School District at Joyce Kilmer School

Ascertain the needs of students who require specific instructional and/or behavioral
accommodations
Set-up Summer School Program in RealTime student information system for purposes of scheduling
staff; placement of students; taking daily attendance; inputting grades; and administrative notetaking
Create cohesive and intensive curriculum between Summer School and home schools to maintain
continuity of instruction
Maintain accurate records and database of student personal, bussing, medical, and instructional
information
Align all documents with district stationery to reflect the cohesion of Summer School Program
curricula and approved district school year curricula
Update protocol and procedures for student arrival and dismissal
Maintain professional and consistent correspondence with parents via email and phone
Coordinate and reserve building and room usage as well as bussing for the Program
Communicate regularly and meet with teaching, paraprofessional, and volunteer staff prior to start
of Program for purposes of organization and dissemination of procedures and expectations
Observe and evaluate grades K-8 teaching staff
Research and implement Grades 6-8 diagnostic tests for pre and post assessments for purposes of
submission to the State of New Jersey
Plan, supervise, and coordinate fire and emergency procedures and drills with Mahwah Fire
Department
Order supplies through Ed Data vendors utilizing and remaining within Title I budget
Communicate individual and custom student schedules to parents and guardians through email
