Learners learn at different speeds (Fast / Slow)

Teachers should not be the only source of knowledge
The digital native students we have today prefer interactive
activities instead of traditional methodologies
Teachers should have more time to teach the deeper levels
of understanding (6-levels of understanding)
A primary goal of education should be the development and
deepening of student understanding.
Students who are more engaged perform better in class

Story on Math
Studies show that most students are good in Math, but
every student gets stuck at some point. The longer they
are stuck, the more the rest of the class gets ahead which
makes them falsely believe that they are bad at Math.
The second students get unstuck they race ahead

PLEASE REMEMBER
You can learn anything!
Your brain grows through challenge,
making mistakes and doing things you
dont yet understand
Your brain does not grow doing things
you already know.
When you make a mistake, BE HAPPY!
YOUR BRAIN IS GROWING

FAQ
What happens to undisciplined students who did not watch at
home?
Teachers can view which students watched and did not watch the Video through the
Dashboard. At the start of the class, all of those who did not watch the video must first
watch it before they can participate.
The first class maybe half will not watch, and half will have fun. The second class maybe
only 10 will not watch, by the 5th class there will be no child who wants to be left out of
the fun.

This seems like more work, we are already overloaded

Actually there is far less work, this will reduce checking paperwork, have more collaborative studentstudent learning.

What happens if students cheat and get their classmate to log on to

their account?
Students who cheat, they do this already under the traditional methods (Sending answers through
Facebook Groups, SMS, Viber, etc)

why is this important? Where is this used?
Review: Learner Dashboard
Step 1: Watch Video Online or Intranet (\\siscelohim\4_everyone\Flipped Classroom)
Step 2: Do

exercises (Online)
Step 3:Start Worksheet
(Worksheet comes from Ck-12, it has a Video which even explains
how to solve the practice problem and it has authentic real life
activities towards the end for deeper understanding)
