1.

Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), Aerodrome Engineering Department (AED) intends to apply part of its funds to cover eligible
payments under the Contract for the Procurement of Works as specified in the table below:
2. The CAAN/AED invites sealed Bids/Quotations from all the eligible Nepalese Bidders for all the packages under National Competitive Bidding
(NCB).
3. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at office of the Director, AED, CAAN, Babarmahal,
Kathmandu. Phone 014262934/014262557 and Fax: 014262557.
4. Bidding Documents may be purchased from office of the Director, AED, CAAN, Babarmahal, Kathmandu and office of the Project Directorate,
Air Transport Capacity Enhancement Project (ATCEP), Sinamangal, Kathmandu on the written application and upon submission of the
receipt of the amount of Nepalese Rupees (non-refundable) as specified in the table below, for the respective packages of works, submitted
on current account No 64917 of Rastriya Banijya Bank, Bishal Bazaar, Kathmandu or non operative account no 00100000931F of NMB Bank,
Babar Mahal Kathmandu in favor of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal within the 30th day for S.N. 1, 2 & 3 and 15th day for S.N.4 of first date of
publication of the notice latest by the office hours.
5. Each Bidder shall submit only one bid, either individually or as a partner in a joint venture. To facilitate contract administration, the number of
partners in JV is limited to three (3).
6. Sealed Bids must be submitted and registered in bid registration book to the office of the Director, AED, CAAN, Babarmahal Kathmandu on
or before 12:00 hours of the 31st day for S.N. 1, 2 & 3 and 16th day for S.N.3 of the first date of publication of notice.
7. Bids shall be opened in the presence of Bidder's Representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hours of the last day of submission of the
bids at the office of the Director, AED, CAAN. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 (Ninety) days after Bid Opening and must be accompanied
by Bid Security amount as mentioned in the table below, which shall be valid up to 30 (Thirty) days beyond the Bid Validity Period.
8. If the bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in Security Account No. 1206110-001-003524NPR of the Employer at Nepal Rastra Bank, Thapathali, Kathmandu and submit the receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with
the bid.
9. If the last dates of purchase, submission and opening fall on a Government holiday, the next working days shall be considered as the last
day.
10. Bidders are advised to visit site and assess the actual site condition before submitting their bids.
11. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the Bids/ Sealed Quotation without assigning any reason,
whatsoever.
