GINGERBREAD Cookies

Ingredients
250g
100g
1
1
1
50g

self raising flour


brown sugar
mug of cold tea
teaspoon of dried powdered ginger
egg
butter

Method
1.

Heat over to 180 degrees centigrade.

2.

In a bowl, cream sugar and butter.

3.

Add dry ingredients to the sugar and butter mixture.

4.

Add cold tea until you have a pliable dough.

5.

Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface.

6.

Roll dough out to a thickness of approximately 5mm.

7.

Cut using a cookie cutter / glass / mug or other shape of your choosing.

8.

Bake in the oven for around 10 minutes.

9.

Remove from oven and leave to cool.
