Setting up
1. Plug in the Non-Stick Bowl.
- Locate the gold pins on the Bowls base.
- Align these with the three sockets in the
Power Base and Push the Non-Stick Bowl
into the Power Base.
2. Plug the Cooker into the mains and switch on.

1. Pour two cups of water into the Non-Stick Bowl.
Ensure you do not exceed the Max Fill Line.

Basic instructions
1. Place your food in the Non-Stick Bowl and
cover it with liquid (water, stock, wine etc.)
Make sure you dont exceed the Max Fill Line.
2. Place on the Glass Lid and turn the temperature
to 110 140C. Avoid opening the Glass Lid
until your food is cooked.
3. When finished, carefully remove your food. Wait
for the GoChef Non-Stick Bowl to fully cool down.
Use the Pouring Lip side of the Non-Stick Bowl to
empty out the water from the Bowl.

Warning
Hot steam will be released when removing the Glass Lid. Be careful when removing the Lid
and the Rack as they will both be hot.
To slow cook meat
Meat should be sauted before slow cooking to help seal in the flavours. Large portions of
meat such as joints should be cooked for around 3 4 hours with the Lid on while smaller
portions such as breasts, legs, joints and chops should be cooked for approximately 1 2
hours with the Lid on.
Meat suitable for slow cooking:
Beef: Chuck, skirt, round steak, shin or gravy, shanks.
Lamb: Lamb shanks, drumsticks, chops, neck chops, forequarter or shoulder.
Veal: Diced leg, shoulder/forequarter chops and steak, neck chops, knuckle.
Pork: Leg steaks, diced belly, diced shoulder, boneless loin chops.
Poultry: Skinless pieces such as thighs and breasts.

Note: As the maximum setting of the GoChef Timer is 120 minutes, we recommend
using an external timer and placing the Cooker on the On setting to slow cook for more
than 2 hours.

Do not leave the Cooker unattended while boiling to ensure there is no risk of boiling over.
Be careful if using the Glass Lid, as hot steam will escape when removed
To boil vegetables
Bring the water to the boil and then add your vegetables. Lower the temperature to 120C
and leave to simmer for 4 5 minutes or until cooked through.
For green vegetables, leave the Glass Lid off; for other vegetables place the Lid on.
For thick root vegetables, like potatoes and swedes, place into the water before bringing to
the boil, then simmer.
To boil pasta
Bring your water to the boil and add your pasta. Lower the temperature to 120C and leave
to simmer for 10 12 minutes until soft. Check packet for exact times.
To boil rice
Pour your rice into the Non-Stick Bowl and add roughly twice as much pre-boiled water,
without exceeding the Max Fill Line. Place on the Lid and cook for 15 minutes for white rice
and for 40 minutes for brown rice.

Set the temperature at 140C. For liquid foods (soup, sauces, stews etc.) place directly in the
Non-Stick Bowl. For solid foods (meat joints, sausages, puddings etc.) use the Low Rack.

Non-Stick Bowl. For solid foods (meat joints, sausages, puddings etc.) use the Low Rack.

4. When finished, wait for the GoChef Non-Stick Bowl and the oil in it to fully cool down.
Use the Pouring Lip side of the Non-Stick Bowl to empty out the oil from the Bowl.
Warning
Do not leave the Cooker unattended while flash frying. Do not touch any part of the Frying
Basket except for the handle. Be careful when removing the Basket from the Cooker as hot
oil will drip from the Basket.
To flash fry French fries
Divide your fries into small batches. Add to the Basket and fry the first batch once the Heat
Light has turned off for 1 2 minutes. Remove the first batch and drain on a piece of kitchen
towel. Add the second batch of fries, but only when the Heat Light has turned off again.
Once each batch has been fried, repeat the above, cooking each batch again for 1 2
minutes to give them a crispy, brown finish.
