Edgewood Center for Children and Families is working to transform lives and restore hope, by working with families and transition youth. Serving a non-profit organization with a mission of giving hopes is going to be a good opportunity for the service learner to learn about other families and the experience of children. Rahel learned from her meeting with the program manager at Edgewood that the kids they are serving are mostly from foster care, they dont have experience living in a traditional family environment. Children of today are the foundation of the next generation, they can be from foster care, from any kind of challenging situation but they have to get the opportunity to be equipped with tools to transition to youth and then adulthood and lead happy lives. The wholeness of each of us is through serving, we have to serve the youth Rahel Tilahun
