Project work in CLIL context

It gives students an opportunity to expand confidence and independence. It is a chance

to talented students to show it and for those less linguistically gifted it is a time to show their
best in different area.
The study trip to Finland allowed me to look at education, in which project work
method in CLIL is present much longer than in Poland. In the primary school I had an
opportunity to experience different kinds of project works.
In the primary school in Warsaw where I conducted my CLIL Unit of geography of 5 lessons
I did a CLIL project with grade 1.
In this article will be information about the importance of CLIL and project work in this
approach. I will write about 4Cs, scaffolding content and language learning, aims of CLIL and
project work, planning a series of lessons.
I would like to include my lessons plans, photos and their description while conducting CLIL
Unit in Warsaw primary school as well as descriptions and explanations of projects photos
taken in Finnish primary school.
