Reflection The six hats

The thinking behind the six hats is looking at an issue from six different angles.
Every hat has different color like white, red, black, yellow, green , blue and they
deal with facts, feelings ,cautions , benefits, creativity and metacognition. When
we were given those six hats and every person had a different one we could
discuss a problem looking at many aspects and not concentrating only at one.
Every person has its role and then the analysis went smoothly and we discussed
it much more deeply. Every of those six hats Blooms taxonomy which are levels
of thinking and at the same time steps of learning . When it come to Blooms
knowledge, evaluation, analysis, synthesis, comprehension and application .

Reflection
Blooms taxonomy
Blooms taxonomy consists of six levels beginning from the lowest to the highest
level of thinking. There are steps which teachers use to teach totally new things
to students. Such scheme is very much needed to teach young learners because
firs they have to remember and be able to recall knowledge , next the pieces of
information they acquired have to be understood and meaningful. Then learners
have to apply the knowledge by using and demonstrating it in variety of
exercises. Now it is time to analyze part by part of gained knowledge and at this
level students ought to distinguish, compare and contrast what they have learnt.
Last but one there is the level of evaluating so making judgments, critique and
predict and last but not least is the highest step which is design where students
use previous steps and knowledge and create from them a new product which is
their individual. We can not say if a learner succeeded in all the six steps. Young

learners are gaining background knowledge by those six levels and adults use
their background knowledge to fulfilled those six levels
