Dear Family,
On behalf of Cecilia Dash, welcome to her 2015 Boxing
Day Family Thanksgiving! It is our hope that everyone will
enjoy a fun-filled weekend of re-connecting as well as
healing any broken ties.
During this weekend we invite you to give thanks for all the
blessing we have received and make a joyful noise of
praise. In the following pages, you will find a complete

The Planning Committee appreciates the support of all
Family members who helped make this celebration
possible. We have also been fortunate to have input and
participation from many Relatives living abroad. During the
planning process, we have seen our theme in action,
Unbroken Our connectedness has made this a true labour
of love.
We hope that everyone will leave the experience with a
greater sense of the depth of Cecilias Legacy; we all stand
on her unbroken commitment to her creator and her
unbroken chains of prayer, faith and love for us all. May

The Theme Unbroken Is rooted in an African philosophy
that focuses on peoples allegiances and relations with
each other.
We really cannot separate ourselves from each other. We
cannot see our actions as separate from the impact on
each other. God designed it this way we can see this in
Gods promise to Abraham I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you and make a name great; and you shall be a
blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse
him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth
shall be blessed We must understand that no person is an
island and God wants us to get this and to take action on
it. Its built right into the fabric of this world and the fabric
of Cecilias family.
Through conversations with our Elders, we hear about the
determination of her relatives to be servants of our lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ, and her desire to leave an
inheritance for her children. Each of us has inherited a love
of God and Family, determination to fulfil our destinies and
thereby shape a future generation a legacy worthy of being
truly thankful for.
