Provide financial advisory, and serve in interim fiscal management capacities, for Fortune 1000 clients of this publicly
traded management consulting firm. Selected engagements and accomplishments:
Served as the Finance Management Lead in a divisional Project Management Office for a Fortune 100
pharmaceutical company. Responsibilities included monitoring Capital spend for multiple portfolios, monthly
finance reviews and forecasting with project leads, maintained financial plans for the portfolio of Capital
Projects via Clarity, provide support for the Capital Appropriation Review approval process.
Served as finance project lead for the divestiture of a Caribbean insurance business for a Fortune 100 life
insurance company. Developed projected financial statements, updated and monitored financial project plans,
and prepared weekly status presentations for management. Assisted external auditors with the true up process
after the final balance sheet was received.
Assisted with the development of the Legal Entity (LE) Reporting team at a Fortune 1000 financial holding
company. Developed numerous templates utilizing Essbase to assist with quarterly LE reporting to the Federal
Reserve, footnotes in the Q/K, summary financial statements for various management ad hoc requests, financial
statements by business unit template, desktop procedures.
Served as Testing Coordinator for SAP System Landscape Optimization (SLO) Team and New General Ledger
(NGL) Team at a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company. Responsibilities included the coordination of testing
activities surrounding simulated migrations, coordination of data validation and SOP 290 documentation for
migration to production, performed web-based training for SAP NGL Reporting.
Interim Sarbanes-Oxley PMO Coordinator in a Fortune 100 telecommunications company; coordinating various
Sarbanes-Oxley related activities, including compilation of Sarbanes-Oxley certifications and executive
approval, timelines for Sarbanes-Oxley testing and scheduling of various Sarbanes-Oxley related meetings.
Served as the interim Controller in a business unit within a large mutual insurance company; overseeing the
monthly close process, playing a key project management role in the transition of accounting functionality to a
new location. Assisted with the development of the transition plan and provided/implemented process
improvement recommendations.

accounting firm. Selected accomplishments:
Instrumental in the successful merger of two pharmaceutical companies. Organized meetings of global finance
heads and assisted in integrating the accounting close process.
Acted as interim Finance Manager of the business unit of a leading investment bank. Administered accounts
payable. Performed analyses of capital projects. Evaluated business processes within the unit and presented
recommendations for short- and long-term improvements.
Engaged on a business process improvement project at a property and casualty insurance company; charged with
documenting existing metrics, evaluating measurements including turnaround times and volumes, and analyzing
management tools for monitoring processes and controls.

company, culminating in role directing financial reporting for the Special Markets division including AARP Operations
and Credit Card division. Relocated to Tampa, FL to direct the launch of a billing and collections department for a new
business line; managed, trained and motivated up to 15 staff members. Analyzed budgets, profit forecasts and cash flows.
Performed quarterly reviews and calendared current year objectives. Generated sales reports for four business lines.
Conducted activity-based costing studies. Selected accomplishments:
Created an allocation/overhead expense manual that allowed the Special Markets group to ensure correct
expense allocations, capturing more than $500K in cost savings.
Established new expense accounts and cost centers, and prepared capitalization and depreciation schedules for
the entire company. Performed expense reporting and analysis for numerous business lines and overhead
departments for the Corporate Financial Department.
Played key role in developing accounting procedures for new business line as NY Life Credit Card transitioned
to Special Markets; enhanced a revenue projection model, providing a more accurate forecasting method.
Contributed to task forces that improved productivity in AARP operations and developed marketing programs
aimed at reducing product cancellations and improving renewal lapse rates.
