Autobiography Paragraph

Assignment: In this assignment, I want you to pick one unique/interesting aspect about yourself and
write about it in a paragraph. You will have a clear, easily identifiable topic sentence, a fully developed
and supported body, and a concluding sentence. You can write about anything you want, but make sure
that your topic sentence is fully supported and that your paragraph has unity. Although I recommend
prewriting to generate ideas, you do not need to show me evidence of your prewriting. This should be a
full paragraph (5-12 sentences).
Goal: The goal of this assignment is to get you to narrow your ideas down, write a strong topic
sentence, and be able to fully support that topic sentence.
Requirements: A minimum of one paragraph (5-12 sentences). If typed, 12-pt. Times New Roman
font, double-spaced. If hand-written, make sure your handwriting is legible.
Due Date: Wednesday, June 22 (rough draft, in-class). Final draft is due Monday, June 27.
