The Edmond Board of Realtors (EBR) home sales


statistics for May 2015 are now available online at
http://www.edmondrealtors.com/stats.
The statistics provided are published monthly by
EBR based on MLSOK multiple listing service data.
The statistics are based on residential properties in
the city of Edmond.
Overall, median prices increased and days on
the market decreased. The listed vs. closed ratio
finished weak this month.
The total housing inventory at the end of May
2015 increased .62 percent to 1,143 existing
homes available for sale.
The market experienced some upward momentum with the increase of median price this month.
Prices went up 2.5 percent in May to $239,900
vs. the previous year at $234,043.
The median days on market has decreased to
16.
The Edmond Board of Realtors was established
in 1947 and currently represents over 630 Realtor
members and 115 affiliate members serving the
Edmond area.

New Chamber hires

The Edmond Chamber is proud to announce the


addition of two new staff members, Zoe Pike and
Brittany Robinson.
Zoe joins the Chamber as our new Coordinator
of Communications and Marketing. Zoe graduated
from Oklahoma State University with a degree in
Strategic Communications. Before joining the
Chamber, Zoe was an intern with the Oklahoma
City Museum of Art.
In her spare time, Zoe enjoys camping, participating in community theatre, and performing as a
princess with Forever After Parties. Zoe will soon
become a "Mrs." in August!
Brittany joins the Chamber as our new Coordinator of Edmond Young Professionals. Brittany graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with
a degree in Professional Media.
Before joining the Chamber, Brittany worked at
local Edmond businesses including Aspen Coffee,
Edmond Summit Company and Carpe Diem Video
Productions.
In her spare time, Brittany enjoys being outside,
trying new hobbies, and going to the dog park
with her pup, Avery. In September, Brittany will
change her last name to "Willison" when she marries her fiance Matt.
