CAREER STATEMENT
Education is only effective if we seek to
inspire as much as we teach. In my
opinion, my goal as a teacher is to be a
facilitator of learning, allowing for
critical thinking students. I believe
students are individuals with personal
beliefs and values; due to this, we can
learn from each other and contribute to
one-an-others lives. The ultimate goal
being to create a learning environment
that is inclusive and stimulating to all,
a positive classroom environment will go
a long way toward motivating students.
The importance of the process of
learning, not merely the outcome must
be nurtured. Like building a house,
without the frame, the bricks would not
hold and we, as teachers, must ensure
that students understand the
importance of just that.
