My Reflection about the Yaman ng mga

Marcos

In almost 20 years, the Philippines under the Administration of

the late President
Ferdinand Endralin Marcos. In his administration, the Philippines
experience terrific changes
that no one can be like. When we describe late President Marcos, he is the
kind of President
that was a dictator. He ruled and controlled everything. He can do whatever
he want because
he is above the law. He declared the Martial Law , which are the military
forces was under
with him. I cant imagine the past life of our forefathers; they dont have
freedom to choose
which they prefer for. Aside from that, as I thought that late President
Marcos was only a
dictator but also was a corruptor in our country. According to the Guiness
Book of the World
Records in past years of 2004, late President Ferdinand Endralin Marcos was
the 2nd world

biggest corruption, raise the amount of almost 5-10 Billion Dollars. Aside
from that, there was
more ill-gotten wealth of the Marcos during those times. It consist of lot and
houses, precious
jewelry of former first lady Imelda, the share and staff of 11 company, the 2
ships of Molave
that secretly registered in other name. And of course the shocking Swiss
Account Bank that
have the network of almost a Billion Dollars. I cant imagine how rich the
Marcos family those
times and how pity the Philippines and the people living the country.
Imagine Former First Lady
got huge collection of arts, precious jewelries and also 1 thousand pairs of
shoes. They are the
family of shameless, they never see what the condition of people around
them during their
times. Many suffered of hungrier because they are lack of income in their
work, of course they
are working especially under the government institutions, they paid taxes
even they have least
salary. That is why they cannot provide all the needs of their family
especially the three basic of
needs of a person such as foods, shelter, and clothes. Their children also
have some needs like
education, and the proper nutrition and medication when they got sick.
Former first lady Imelda Marcos, spent Million of money for her daughters
coming wedding
and so far after all remain nothing because the church was destroy of
earthquake. I can say
that it was a Karma. Instead of spending money in non-sense or in-justice
reason, the money

can be useful for the needs of the people in nation. The family Marcos was
denounced by the
people around them especially in media how they spent the money that
they stole from
anomaly. As the citizen of our country we have the right to recover the
treasure of our country
that family Marcos stole from us for the nations renovation. The PCGG was
the right this case
not should be dismissed for the based change of the state for the countrys
new upcoming
generation. I salute the government of Presidential Commission of Good
Government to their
effort of spending time to get back the stolen ill-gotten wealth of the
Marcoses that came from
anomaly. In fact, the PCGG sequesters of the ill-gotten wealth of Marcos was
not yet enough.
The PCGG plundered only half of their wealth. Imagine they corrupted
almost a Billion so there
are more of their wealth not discovered by the PCGG. And now, the three
famous political
family of corruptor was continue their position as Senator, Governor and
District position and
according to the NSA that there wealth are continue to expand. So hoping
that our government
will not be slothful about the ill-gotten wealth of Marcos for the nations
benefits.
