RLO Enabling
Objective

Identify and Apply the Eight Steps of the Drug Testing

Protocol Procedure

Learning
Assessment for
Course

There will be a formal assessment at the end of the course

testing the learners on key concepts gained throughout the
modules.

Learning
Assessment for
RLO

The first type of learning assessment activity will require the

learners to identify the missing step of Drug Testing Protocol
Procedure. This assessment will ensure the learner knows
each step of the Drug Testing Procedure.
The second assessment type will be scenario based. The
learner will receive a scenario and will need to make
decisions in multiple choice exercises based on the Drug
Testing Protocol Procedure. This assessment will ensure the
learner can apply the 8 step process when faced with reallife situations.

Instructional
Delivery method
for Course
(overall)

Because of the nature of the Front Line Leaders jobs, Face to

Face training with case study exercises will be most
effective. Holding classroom training will allow the
participants to focus on the material and limit the
distractions that a manufacturing environment typically
entails. Additionally, case study exercises will allow the
participants to practice applying the learnings to real life
situations so the transfer of knowledge back to the job can
be smooth.

Instructional
Tutorial: Learners will process the new information about the
Strategy for RLO Drug Testing Protocol Procedure and will practice applying
the concepts in different assessment situations.

Media

Throughout the RLO I will be including images to enhance

the learning. The images will not be Clipart type images, but
realistic ones that add to the content. I will also be including
a flowchart type image to outline the 8 steps of the drug
testing protocol where the user can hoverover each image
and will learn more about the step.

508
Accommodation
s

For the color theme of my RLO, I will be using black and

white to accommodate users who may be color blind.
Additionally, the color of my background and text will be
contrasting so it is easy to read. Throughout the RLO, I will
be providing the option for the words to be read, in addition
to being displayed in text on the screen. Any images will
include alternative text to accommodate those who may be
blind or may have turned off the images.

Course
Structure
Description

The course will cover one topic in an approximate 30 minute

period. The primary topic will be Drug Testing Protocol
Procedure, which will be covered in one unit. However, the
course will be chunked into different sections to allow the
learner to gain the knowledge and then practice putting it to
use. The sections will be labeled: Introduction, Objective,
Learn, Apply, Practice and Assess.
