August 2016

My name is Mr. Guzman and I will be

your science teacher this year. The
beginning of the school year is filled
with lots of enthusiasm, renewed
energy and high expectations.
Im excited to think of all the new
possibilities this school year
brings. Im positive that we are
going to learn many new things
and have fun in the process. As
your teacher, I am committed to
helping you learn and expand your
horizons into new ways of
thinking.

THINGS TO KNOW
There are only five rules in
our class, but it is important
that you are fully aware of
the classroom expectations.
Prompt- Arrive to class ontime every day and be in your
seat working on the warm-up
activity when the bell rings.

Prepared- Come prepared

for class everyday with all of
the necessary materials.

Productive- Stay on task at

all times, follow directions, and
stay seated unless you have
been given permission to do
otherwise.

Patient- Quietly raise your

hand if you have a question or
comment. Wait calmly for the
teacher to respond.

Polite- Respect yourself,
