A young man lives next to my house. He is my new neighbor. I often see him wearing rubber
boots and a dirty jacket. I guess he is a fisherman because he often brings a fish-net, a large pail; a
fishing rod and goes to the sea.
His hair cut is very bad and is often unshaven. He is about 180 cm tall and 70 kg in weight. He
has crooked nose and slanted eyes. He has fair complexion. The first thing I remember about him is a
big mole on his right cheek and his thick beard. He is just like the Chinese-American.
I guess he is a strange man as he grumbled as if he wants to scold anyone who meets him. Im
very afraid of him, and my brother is too. One day my brother and I trespassed in his garden since we
wanted to have a shortcut to our house. Unfortunately, the man was on the balcony, reading a
newspaper. He stopped reading and stared at us. He shouted asking us to go otherwise he would butt us
to our house. We then ran away. From then on, we dont have any guts to disturb him again.
A lot of neighbors complain about his behavior. But they just talk behind his back and wont do
anything. We really wonder how he can live in such solitary life. As far as we concern, he always does
anything by himself. We even know nothing about his background as he never socializes with other
people. Thats why we also never give a damn.
