LEARNING DESIGN PROJECT


This

project was interested in pedagogical practices in


science literacy in secondary school with focus on media
technologies and teachers as change agents that able to
transform learning style in Malaysia.

The

objectives of this project:

To enhance teaching & learning in schools


To encourage the development of new teaching practices
and multimodal skills
To provide good relationship between teachers and
students

What is pedagogy??

ARTICLE: Teacher should create a good plan lesson


to achieve the teaching and learning objectives
MY OPINION:
Plan lesson is important because it help teachers to prepare all
materials before they entering in the class.
Others opinion:
The planning lesson help teachers to give some indicators
of the relationship between teaching intention, teachers
knowledge and classroom practice (Sharif, Cloke &
Ambotang, 2006)
In order to create lesson plan, teachers need to have a deep
understand about their student learning process(Guzey &
Roehring, 2009).

My opinion:
Teachers can design their teaching styles based on critical
and creative ways.

Others opinion:
Inquiry-based teaching is the true scientific method and
help teachers to teach their student how to think
critically(Guzey & Roehring, 2009).
Conducting a group work helps to promote creative and
critical thinking among teachers and students (Sharif,
Cloke & Ambotang, 2006).

ARTICLE: Teachers can integrate new

media technologies in their teaching


practice
My opinion:
It is important for teachers to have a good knowledge and
experience in technologies field.
Other opinion:
Acquiring techno-pedagogical proficiency will make
teaching and learning process more easier (Gloria &
Benjamin, 2014).
Teachers should reflect on their classroom practice in order
to incorporate technology and inquiry into their teaching
more effectively (Guzey & Roehring, 2009).

CONCLUSION
As a conclusion, it is important for
science teachers to obtain the
pedagogy skills in their teaching
style. This is because it help them
to educate their student in more
systematic and organized. Besides,
it also provide a good relationship
between teacher and students.
