COMMUNICATION
 Communication: It involves atleast
two people- one to transmit the
message and another to receive that
message. Traditionally the focus was
on the sender and his communication
skills for effective communication. Of
late, the role of the reciever and the
art of listening are being underlined as
requisites for making communication
effective.
SIGNIFICANCE OF
COMMUNICATION IN AN

 Effective communication is important
is important for managers in an
organization to perform the basic
function of planning, organizing,
leading and controlling . Information
must be communicated to the
managers so that they can carry out
the plans which are etched by the
organization.

phone. It can be task related or social
related.
