FEMTECH is a six month programme that will provide business support

services to women who wish to establish & grow their own technology-
enabled businesses.

You will learn how to determine whether your concept is feasible, and
how to develop a plan to take your new product or service to market.

You will be assisted by a business coach on your journey.

FEMTECH
You will become part of a peer network of women facing similar
challenges and opportunities. Here you can share your experiences and
learn from each other.

You will be exposed to:

WOMEN-OWNED
Entry criteria:
• You are a woman business owner with demonstrated
entrepreneurial skills TECHNOLOGY BUSINESSES
• You are currently running a business, preferably technology-
enabled, and wish to grow the business substantially, or
o want to introduce an innovative product or service (at
least at the concept stage) into an existing business
o plan to spin out a business from a corporate environment.
• You reside within travelling distance of Pretoria
• You are prepared to attend training sessions and mentoring (at
least once a month between July and October)

• two-page CV showing evidence of entrepreneurial endeavours
• motivation showing how you hope to benefit from the programme

Twenty applicants will be chosen for the programme. Shortlisted
applicants should expect to be interviewed and will be required to present
their concepts at the end of June 2010. The Selection Panel’s decision is
final and no further communication or correspondence will be entered into.
