The Jefferson County Master Gardeners invite you to our

Annual Garden Tour


and Luncheon
Sunday, June 27 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Tickets $12 General Admission, $10 Seniors (65+)
Proceeds benefit the Master Gardener Fund
To purchase tickets in advance contact the Extension office at
(303) 271-6620, or stop in at 15200 W. 6th Ave. in Golden.
Tickets can also be purchased the day of the event at any garden location.
During your tour, stop by the Jefferson County Extension Office to enjoy a
refreshing LUNCH from 11:00-1:00 with Master Gardeners!

The following garden sites may be viewed in any order!

1. 8032 W. 78th Circle, Arvada. This garden demonstrates effective use of a small
amount of space.

2. 2640 and 2650 Lamar Street, Wheat Ridge. These side-by-side properties feature
Cottage Gardens.

3. 12165 W. Applewood Knolls Drive, Lakewood. This garden is described as “Alpine


Feng Shui”.

4. 11900 W. 75th Ave., Arvada. Explore this “farm in the city”, highly productive food
garden.

5. 15200 W. 6th Ave., Golden. The Colorado State University Extension/Jefferson County
Plant Select Demonstration and Research Garden. Superior perennial plants and
shrubs perform well in a no-water (and stress-filled!) site.

6. 499 McIntyre Street, Golden. “Durable” gardening at its best, including wildflowers,
unusual vegetables and a variety of perennial flowers.

7. 593 Blue Jay Drive, Golden. See “Nature Improved” and vegetables growing in
pots.

8. 1007 Tucker Gulch Way, Golden. Attractive water feature in backyard.
