Oil man Red Adair said there was one way to

get control of an out of control oil well. You
need two parts and it takes four steps.

PART 1
The pipeline is broken, and the flow is out of control.
This is the current situation. The broken end must be
cut so it is smooth and then a plate is welded over the
smoothed end. The flow gets in the way. The
estimated production from this pipe was at least
50,000 barrels per day when BP was raising money to
do this project. Far larger than what they have
admitted is flowing today from the same pipe.

PART 2
This is a valve. It is as strong as the original pipe,
and equipped with a cut-off valve sufficient to stop
the flow. It is also shaped at one end to fit over the
out of control pipe behind the break.

STEP 1
The valve section is attached to the broken section
behind the break by welding it in place.

STEP 2
The section of pipe that is now interior to the
valve section is cut away with shaped
explosives, while the valve is open.

STEP 3

The flow then moves through the diverter

and is no longer pouring out of the broken
end. The broken end is cut away and an end
cap is welded in place.

STEP 4

The valve is then closed and the flow is

stopped.

CHECK VALVE
Hyundai Heavy Industries Check Valve that’s
designed to go on an 18.75 inch inner diameter
pipe of sufficient thickness to close off the oil
flow.

LITTLE KNOWN FACT

Hyundai Heavy Industries built the Deepwater
Horizon and all its safety systems. Hyundai has
been strangely quiet about their ability to support
efforts to stem the flow of oil.

WHY?
Could it be that Hyundai fears bad publicity will
adversely affect their car sales in the US? Just as
bad publicity surrounding Toyota and GM might
had an adverse affect on their sales?
