ASPAC Highlights

ASPAC 2010 held at Singapore from 3rd to 6th June, 2010 was a fruitful event for the JCI India
delegates. Here are some of the glimpses of ASPAC.

? 133 delegates headed by National President JCI Sen. Santhosh Kumar attended ASPAC. This was the
2nd highest ever delegation from JCI INDIA after 1997 ASPAC at Pattaya.
? After two consecutive set backs, this time we won 5 Awards – 4 NOM Awards & 1 LOM Awards. Thanks
to National President Jc. Santhosh Kumar, NOM Coordinator – JCI Awards Jc. Jayadheer P. and Jc. Ashit
Shah from Baroda for all the support in preparing the NOM Awards. Following are the awards won:

2010 Best National Public Relations Program Award
2010 Best National Business Development Program Award
2010 Best National Publication Award
2010 Best National Community Development Program Award

LOM Award:
JCI Hyderabad Deccan – 2010 Best Local Community Development Award

? Appointment of PNP S Ravishankar as the JCI ASPAC Senate Board Member for the year 2010-2011.
? JCI Twinning agreement was signed and entered into between JCI India & JCI Bangladesh. It was a
NOM to NOM twinning program.
? Jc. Mukesh Ashar & Jc. Yogesh Chandak were the Assistant Trainer for JCI Designer.
? Jc. Pritam Goswami was the Assistant Trainer for JCI Presenter & JCI Trainer.
? Jc. Thomas George was the Assistant Trainer for JCI Trainer.
? Trainers from JCI India Jc. Kamal Dabawala, Jc. Yogesh Chandak, Jc. Sheetal Gandhi, Jc. Thomas
George and Jc. Mukesh Ashar conducted training programs for the delegates.
? General Assembly appreciated the report of our IPNP, current JCI VP Jc. G Sivakumar about his
assigned NOMs.
? Our National President’s report was well applauded by GA.
? NOM Coordinator-OYP Jc. Nitish Raj Victor participated in the Public Speaking Contest.
? India Night was organized in a professional way and maximum delegates enjoyed the India’s traditional
food, games, sweets and of course the Indian traditional way of welcome.
? NGB contributed US $ 1000 for JCI Nothing But Net program, a program to prevent the Malaria.
? IV NEC & III NGB was held at Hotel Legend, Malaysia hosted by JCI India from 31st May to 2nd June.
? JCI India International Affairs Committee PNP Ashraf Ali Nizari & JCI UN Affairs Commissioner
from JCI India Jc. Shine T Bhaskaran contributed to JCI Foundation and conferred with Phil Phugsley
Patrons.
? JCI India contributed 8 Senators to JCI Foundation.
