Buddhist Workshops
Food and Blessing
We welcome Gen Khedup and Ven Tenzin
To Kinglake to bless and share with our Community

Gen Thupten Khedup entered the Guyto Tantric Monastery, in Arunachel Pradesh, near the Tibetan border at the
age of 13. He studied, Buddhist philosophy, Buddhist practice, tantric rituals, sand mandala construction, butter
sculpting, drawing, painting and stupa architecture over a period of 20 years. Gen Khedup has been teaching and
touring since that time, he moved to Australia in 2006 to take up the position of Spiritual Adviser / Artist to the
Great Stupa of Universal Compassion in Bendigo. He is now touring with Ven Lozang Tenzin a western Tibetan
Buddhist nun. They combine to share the Buddhist teachings, Peace Sand Mandalas, Traditional Tibetan cooking,
butter sculpture, mandala making and meditation. Gen Khedup and Ven Tenzin work to support Tibetan nuns and
monks in Nepal and Tibet, orphaned children in India, and the establishment of the Tashi Tho Sam Ling nunnery in
Victoria.

Workshops marked with an ‘*’ are $10 adult and $5 children. Dinner is $25 adult and $10 children. All
other elements of the days are free.
