A well kept treasure
BLOOMART
Para além de uma forte amizade, há uma sensibilidade especial que liga Anamar e
Telma Teixeira da Silva. Ambas com vidas profissionais muito ricas, juntaram-se
como dupla criativa para desenvolver o projecto Bloomart.
As Bloom são esculturas murais, nascidas do casamento entre uma música ins-
piradora e uma jóia. O resultado são obras de arte mágicas, com uma plasticidade
dinâmica e uma luminosidade que as objectivas das câmaras ou as palavras
escritas não conseguem descrever.
O anel, deformado por uma lupa, é como uma micro-escultura integrada abs-
tractamente na obra. De objecto de uso pessoal é elevado ao patamar da obra
de arte, que tão bem assenta à sua simbologia universal. E cada anel é muito
especial, ou por ser uma obra única, uma reminiscência de uma época passada, ou
o guardião de uma história particular.
É a memória que o anel transporta, e a memória da música escolhida, que con-
dicionam os materiais escolhidos, as cores e a plasticidade que lhes são dadas.
E há uma simbologia inerente a tudo o que as obras contêm: desde a proporção
sagrada dos rectângulos de ouro que formam a base, às influências energéticas
dos metais e das cores escolhidos.
Todas essas camadas conceptuais e criativas fundam-se no objectivo das
artistas de trazer ao mundo obras inspiradoras e mágicas na interacção que
estabelecem com os outros. Porque se as obras se dão pelas energias que
transmitem, também quem usa um dos anéis está a dar um pouco de si à obra,
quando o coloca de volta no seu pequeno altar. ::
Besides a strong friendship, there is a special sensitivity that connects Anamar
and Telma Teixeira da Silva. Both have very rich professional lives and they
joined as a creative duo to develop the project Bloomart.
The Blooms are wall sculptures, born from the marriage between an inspirational
music and a piece of jewellery. The result is magical works of art, with a dynamic
plasticity and a light that the lenses of the cameras or the written words cannot
describe.
The ring, deformed by a magnifying glass, is like a micro-sculpture integrated
abstractly in the work. From a mere personal object it is raised to the level of the
artwork, which suits its universal symbolism. Each particular ring is very special,
chosen because either it is a one of a kind piece, a reminiscent of a bygone era, or
the guardian of a particular story.
It is the memory carried by the ring itself, and the memory associated to the
chosen music which determines the materials, the colours and the plasticity
they are given. And there is an inherent symbolism in everything that the works
contain: the proportion of the sacred golden rectangles from the basis, or the
energetic influences of each metal and colour.
All these conceptual and creative layers focus on the artists’ purpose of design-
ing works that become inspiring and magical through their interaction with
others. The works of art offer themselves by the energy they transmit but the
persons who use the ring are also giving back a little piece of themselves each
time they put the ring back in its small altar. ::
