huge difference to any interior space. In the
home or office, you can create a feature which
reflects the surrounding decor or blends with
existing colour schemes. Give some prior
thought to gravel, rocks, plants and fish as
there are many ways to achieve an individual
look. Look out for our exciting range of Marina
accessories which includes a range of pictorial
or moulded rock backgrounds. As well as
adding interest and atmosphere to the scene
they help to hide any unsightly wires or tubes.
Every Fluval designer aquarium provides an
ideal environment to support a living
ecosystem and setting it up can be an
enjoyably creative experience.
Deciding where your aquarium is going to live
is an important decision and deserves some
preparation and thought. Once the tank is fully
set up with water and decorations it cannot be
moved. The only alternative is to completely
empty and dismantle it to start again in a new
location - definitely NOT a good start to your
new aquatic hobby!
Choosing the right place also depends on
various factors which may have undesirable
effects on the aquarium conditions. Radiators,
sunny windows, fireplaces and other sources
of heat should be avoided. TV’s, speakers,
hi-fi and any other sources of sound and
vibration should be sited away from the
aquarium as this will cause distress to
the fish.
