The Anti-Glare Screen

A anti-glare computer screen is designed to cut down on
the amount of light that reflects off the display. Reflected
light or glare is very fatiguing to the eyes and reduces the
contrast, colors and sharpness of the display. An anti-
glare computer screen makes viewing a display more
pleasant, reduces eyestrain, and sharpens the picture.

Anti-glare coating – you want the filter to
reduce the glare reduction by at least 95
percent.
Anti-static – the less static, the less dust, the
better the legibility of the text on your
screen.
Optical glass, plastic, or micromesh – A
good optical glass is better than the latter two
options.
Privacy anti-glare screens – these make it
difficult for anyone to read what is on the
screen unless he or she is directly in front of
it.
Polarizing – these can provide a very high
level of glare reduction and contrast
improvement.
