Loading the Rifle
1. Place a round (ammo) between
the feed lips and press until it
locks inside the magazine
1. Can hold up to 30 rounds (rds)
2. Push magazine into the well in
the receiver and pull to the rear
until it snaps into place
 Unless ready to fire keep
selector in up position
Technical Data

 Rate of semiautomatic fire: 40 rpm

 Rate of automatic fire: 100 rpm
 Rate of fire cyclic: 600-800 rpm
 Maximum effective range: 400 meters

 * rpm stands for rounds per minute

Firing

 Pull operating handle to rear and release

 Causes lug to bring up a round from magazine to
chamber
 Selector must be in position to fire

 Aim with normal sight picture and pull trigger

Unloading

1. Remove magazine by pressing magazine catch toward

magazine
2. Swing magazine forward and out of receiver
3. Pull operating handle to rear and inspect chamber and
receiver
4. Release operating handle and pull trigger
