I have a caste
If I marry the same caste
My children carry same caste
They’ll grow in the same caste
They’ll memorize the same caste
Like I have
And feel perplexed at

In results no caste

At hostel no caste
At work no caste
In service no caste
At hospital no caste
On road no caste
In accident no caste
In laughter no caste
In sorrow no caste

In food why caste?
In honor why caste?
In thoughts why caste?
After independence
Why caste?
Wise people
Follow caste?
Rich people
Follow caste?
Govt. officers
Reason caste
In votes why caste?
In reservations why caste?
 then ..

Caste has a brother

Religion
Orange has a synonym
The peel is secular
The inside all religion
In food religion
In residence religion
In thoughts religion
In hatred more than caste
Is religion
In cruelty religion
Across globe religion
God is one
But many a religion

I have caste
A religion too
I have Goals to woo
How would then
I think of my caste
My religion
So my family is its custodian
I am afraid of hurting them
I must go along with my caste
Cowardice has a name
In me so free
I love my people
I am emotional
Emotions pray
On Caste on religion
Violence recurs because
Caste n religion
Blackmailed by emotion
God is one
But why caste
Why
Many a religion
Only HE can answer
How to find him
My dilemma exists
As my peculiar whims
