Punches:

5-Petal Flower XL 119880
1-3/4” Scallop Circle XL 119854
1-3/4” Circle XL 119850
Star XL 119875
Other Supplies:

Basic Rhinestones Jewels 119246

Tom Box Multi Purpose Liquid Glue 110755
Crystal Effects 101055
Stampin Dimensionals 104430
Box of Straight Pins (non Stampin Up)
Two Cupcake picks (non Stampin Up)
Two Styrofoam Cones about 6” and 9”(non Stampin Up)
Directions:

1. Prepare the cones. You may

either paint the cone an olive
color with acrylic paint or adhere a
length of DSP to the bottom of the
cone. This step prevents the
white Styrofoam from being
visible between the strips of
paper.

2. Cut Jolly Holly Designer Series

paper into strips that are 1 x 6 for
large cone and 3/4 x 4 for small
cone.

NOTE: You will need between 52-56

strips for each cone. The examples
shown used EACH design from the
Jolly Holly DSP.
3. To begin, loop a strip of the DSP
in half. DO NOT CREASE the fold.
Apply a dot of TomBow multi-
purpose glue to the Styrofoam
cone about three inches from the
base on the big cone or two inches
from the base on the small cone.
Insert two straight pins through
the paper where the ends meet
through the Styrofoam. If desired,
apply TomBow glue to the
underside of the strip to hold it in place.

NOTE: the picture does not show

the cone painted or covered in DSP
to allow you to be able to
understand the placement of the
strips.

4. Repeat Step 3 around the entire

base of the cone.

5. The next layer of strips should begin one inch about the previous layer. Repeat
the process of applying strips until the entire cone is covered. The final row of
strips will be even with the top of the cone.
6. Punch two Scallop Circles from
Old Olive Card Stock, two Stars
from the Designer Series Paper or
Cherry Cobbler Card Stock and
one Fancy Flower from Cherry
Cobbler Card Stock or Old Olive
Card Stock for each cone. Punch
one 5-Petal Flower from Very
Vanilla Card Stock.

7. Spritz the pieces punched using

the Fancy Flower die with water
and “mold” to the top of the
cone, shaping it over the top
layer. Adhere it to the cone when
dry using TomBow glue.

8. On the large cone, spritz the piece punched with the 5-Petal punch with water
and layer it over the fancy flower piece. Allow it to dry and adhere to the piece
with TomBow glue.
9. Sandwich a cupcake pick between
two Old Olive scallop circles using
Crystal Effects. Allow enough of
the pick to stick out below the
scallop circles to insert into the
cone. (Repeat on the other
cone.)

10. Adhere a punched star on each side of the scallop circles with Stampin
Dimensionals. (Repeat on the other cone.)

11. Insert the entire cupcake pick

into the top of the tree. (Repeat
on the other cone.)
12. Adhere Rhinestone jewels randomly to various
“branches” of the tree. (Repeat on the other
cone.)
