-My choice of Accounting Position 1

Accountant- Most accountants positions require at least a Bachelor’s


degree in an accounting or related field. Some employer’s prefer their
employee’s to have a master’s degree, in business administration
concentrating more on accounting and also beginning accountants may
work under supervision or closely with an experienced accountant before
gaining more independence and responsibility. Having previous experience
in accounting, and having some post secondary education is very
important; an associate degree in business or accounting is required.
Salary would be estimated of $61,480. An accountant helps to ensure that
the firms are run efficiently, public records are kept accurately and taxes
are paid properly and on time. Some accountants concentrate on tax
matters about tax advantages and disadvantages of certain business
decisions and preparing individuals income tax returns.

-My choice of Accounting Position 2

Auditing Clerk- Auditing Clerks are required to have a high school diploma
and some accounting course work or relevant work experience. Clerks
should have good communication skills and to be detail oriented and
trustworthy. Having post-secondary education is important and an
associate’s degree in business or accounting is required for some
positions. Auditing clerks, accounting, and bookkeeping help about 2.1
million jobs in 2008. They are in all the industries and at all levels of
government state and local, education services, health care, accounting,
tax preparation, bookkeeping and payroll service industries. Salary I am not
quite sure on because it depends on what form, and what company you
would be working for.

Management Accountant- A Management Accountant is also called a cost,


managerial, industrial, corporate or private accountant. The responsibilities,
are to record and analyze the financial important of companies for the
company they work for. Other responsibilities are budgeting, performance
evaluation, cost management, and asset management. Management
accountants are part of executive teams; they also prepare financial reports
for groups, stockholders, creditors, regulatory agencies and tax authorities
within accounting departments. Management accountants can work in
various areas; for instance; financial analysis, planning, budgeting, and
cost accounting. The estimated salary is $59,820.
