INTRODUCTION

Objective : To ensure the deck areas of the swimming pools are clean and free of algae growth (not slippery)
Need : In order to provide an enjoyable and safe experience for our guests and members.

TASK BREAKDOWN MINIMUM STANDARDS TRAINER’S NOTES

Daily Cleaning  Pool deck areas close to the swimming

pool are to be rinsed every morning.
 The water should be routed into the
storm drain area or the pool overflow.
 Pool deck areas around the swimming
pool are to be swept in the afternoon
and evening or when needed.

Deep cleaning (ever 2 weeks)  Entire pool deck area is to be pressure

washed completely. (preferably during
low period, night or early morning)
 This is to remove all algae growth from
the pool deck areas.
 The excess water should be directed
into storm drain areas and NOT back
