Job 38:4-5, 33 says, “Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you

understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line

across it? Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you set up God's dominion over the

earth?” Scientists who believe in evolution can be proved wrong using these passages. They

were not there when God created the earth, so how can evolution be true. The scientists might

respond by something along the lines of, “God started the earth and it evolved from there”. In

that case look at verse five. It says that God made the dimensions of the earth, so evolution is

clearly false. Evolution can be proved false with this section of scripture.

Notice in verse 33 how it says, “Can you set up God’s dominion over the earth?” We

simply cannot. When scientists try to convince us that the world was made in some way other

than creation, they are contradicting what God’s says. The earth and how it was made is God’s

dominion, and scientists should not think other than that. God created the world and everything

in his dominion.

Scientists should not try to measure the age of the earth by looking at land forms. As

scripture states in verse Job 38:4, “Where were you when I laid the earths foundations?”

Scientists were not there when God created the earth so they cannot judge the age of the earth

from anything except for the bible. If scientists were not there when God created the earth, how

can they know what was created in those six days. The earth’s age cannot be measured from

looking at land forms. Religion is first over science especially when it comes to evolution.
