A Cornucopia of A Feast of Upcoming Events

Asking questions when we read, before we read, during Dec 22 - Half Day
our reading, and after we read, makes us really dig in and
begin to think on a much deeper level of what it is we are
actually reading. We tap into our schema, infer
numerous language components, and utilize our
visualization and imagery! December is upon us, and as
you can see, we are beginning to synthesize many, many
multi-level strategies in order to make sense of it all!

Writing:
My friends will journal write about their long Thanksgiving
break! I will be looking for great stories, juicy
descriptions, sentences that flow and make sense, and
December Character Trait
punctuation. We will then transition into December
writing as we begin our friendly letters to Santa!
Compassion is
Math:
We will continue to focus on data analysis, representing the willingness to put
data, and investigating data, i.e. describing attributes,
sorting and classifying objects, and taking a survey! We
others first!
will also hit measurement, addition and subtraction, and
time to the hour and half hour.

Science/Social Studies:
Social/Emotional/Physical Needs, Compassion
