The Commissioner of Labour shall nctify the Cost of Living Allowance for every six months ie. 1% April ane 2° October, For this purpose, the average rise in the State Ind: 1h Workers Consumer Price Index numbers for half year ending Deces? yr and June respectively shall be taken into account, For every risé of point over and above 525 points, an increase of 6.10 (Rupees six and * paise ten only) per point per month shali be paid as dearness allowance to all the categories covered in the Scheduled employment. NOT 1. Where piece rate workers are employed, the remuneration sed each of them for a normal working day shall not be less than the minimum wage fixed for a general worker being similar vari, calculated on the basis of 8 hours a day. 3. To arrive at a daily rate, the monthly rate shall be divided by 75, which includes the rest day wages. 4.
