    • Write down a date and title for each lesson (if there is no title
    make up one).

    • Listen 80% of the time and Write 20% of the time.

    • Write down what the teacher writes on the board along with
    any questions that are stated.

    • Anything emphasized put an asterisk (star) or underline it.

    • Write one point per line and leave lots of room for added
    points.

    • Use one side of the page.

    • Write neatly and clearly.

    • Abbreviate common words for example: “b/c” for because


    “Govt” for government

    • Put question marks beside anything you do not understand.

    • Always listen and take notes.
