[All] praise is [due] to Allah , Lord of the worlds -

'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).

Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.

The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of
Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)

It is You we worship and You we ask for help.

You (Alone) we worship, and you (Alone) we ask for help
(for each and everything).

Guide us to the straight path -

Guide us to the Straight Way

Sahih International
The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor,
not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who
are astray.

The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace
, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as
the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the
Christians).
