Stuart McKinlay graduated in English from Manchester

University. He has worked for a variety of institutions over

the past fifteen years including secondary schools and
further/higher education establishments in Poland, France
and the UK, most recently at the Teacher Training College
in Lodz, Poland. He has been writing for Pearson since
2003. When not battling with deadlines, he enjoys writing,
travelling and music.

A firm believer in the

teaching, Bob, who has
an MSc in Applied
Linguistics from the
University of
Edinburgh, has been
writing for Pearson
Longman since 2001.
At present he is on
sabbatical from his day
job as DOS of a private
language school in
Córdoba. Married to a
French-speaking
Spaniard, he lives in a
trilingual environment.
In his free time, he
enjoys writing fiction,
hill-walking, cycling
and travelling.
