Be sure to measure the required length of the cable before cutting.
Step 2: Strip off the Jacket
• Use a wire stripper as shown.
• A sharp knife or cutter may be used but be careful not to “nick” the wires inside. • Strip about 2.5 centimeters Step 3: Separate the Wires Step 4: Untwist the Wires
• Untwist the wires in a way such that it
would be easy to arrange. Step 5: Organize and Flatten Wires
Straighten the wires and arrange according to standard.
Step 6: Clip the Wires
Cut the wires evenly at the end.
Step 7: Insert Wires into RJ-45 Plug
• Insert the wires in the
RJ-45 connector. • Be careful not to disarrange the wire. • The jacket must reach the point indicated by the arrow in the figure. Step 8: Push the Wires In
Push the wires inside the connector until you see all the wire copper conductors. Step 9: Inspect the Color Code
Note: Be sure the jacket reaches the point indicated above.
Step 10: Crimp Down the Wires
NOTE: Crimp firmly to secure electrical connection.
Step 11: Inspect Both Ends Step 12: Test the Quality of Cable
