Re: Letter to US Court LaShawn Monitor Regarding Ariana-Leilani King-Pfeiffer

Dear Councilmember Cheh:

How sick and for how long must it be before Washington DC takes action to help severely ill Ar-
iana-Leilani King-Pfeiffer, in Ward 3, who remains ill with Severe Chronic Neutropenia? Is it a "group
think" phenomenon that no one feels responsible? Is it blind faith that Child and Family Services Agency
(CFSA) is doing their job, even though the US Federal Court monitor found that CFSA improperly closed
as "unfounded" 50% of the cases? Is it blind faith that DC MPD does its job properly, even though they
cannot locate any records for a 42 minute telephone call regarding Ariana-Leilani, and their case analysis
completely ignores the vast information they were provided regarding her condition.

The attached letter to Judith Meltzer, the US Federal Court Monitor in LaShawn v Fenty, with
copies to the District of Columbia, the ALCU, Children's Rights (the Plaintiff in LaShawn), and US Judge
Hogan, describes the inaction of the "its not my job" members of DC's version of the "Child Protection"
Keystone Cops: the CFSA, DC MPD, Childrens National Medical Center, and the DCPS.

Even though the US State Department, at the written request of the German Embassy, wants to
get Ariana-Leilani an independent medical and psychological examination, and medicine to treat her dis-
ease, the US State Department says they are forced by law to rely upon the CFSA -- as the "central
authority" -- no matter how incompetent they have been shown to be.

Ariana-Leilani needs help. She has been caught in DC's child protection black hole. Despite the
many voices of experts, foreign goverments, international NGOs, and others, who have put their reputa-
tions on the line and called for her to get help, DC's child protection mafia don't hear or see any problems
that need their action.

I would like to meet with you and David to figure out a plan how, with the change in administra-
tion, Ariana-Leilani can finally get the help she needs.

Thank you for all of your help and support.

Sincerely,

Roy L. Morris, Esq
