Because the main interest of the project is electricity production, for CHP plants a theoretical estimation has been made of how much electricity could be generated when there was no heat supply.

Costs are converted into 1992 US dollars by using the GDP price deflator of the country in which the costs are made.

Units could not be converted. Emissions given were : Zurn/NEPCO : 0.65 mg/dcsf, Delano I : 0.52 mg/dcsf at 12 % CO 2 and Enköping : 40 mg/Nm3 at 6 % O2.

Efficiencies probably about 5 to 10 % lower because of inaccurate data. This would lead to a LHV electrical efficiency of about 32-33 %.
