ROBO-ROMEO

INTRODUCTION-
Robo-Romeo is basically an event that tests your robot how effective it is
on different platform. Robot will be tested regarded the given arena. Strict rules
and regulations are needed to be followed. Robo-Romeo is divided in three
phases as described follows.

GENERAL RULES:
1. Any team which is not ready at that time, will be disqualified from the
competition.

2. Co-ordinators reserve the right to disqualify any team indulged in misbehavior.

3. Teams will be judged on the basis of time trials.

4. Co-ordinators decision will be treated as final and binding on all.

5. A team may consist of a maximum of four members and minimum of two.

6. Students from different educational institutes can form a team.

 7. All student with a valid identity card of their respective technical institutes are
eligible to participate in event.

8. In case of conflict decision will be taken by co-ordinators.

9. Only one operator can handle the bot at a time.

BOT SPECIFICATION:
1. Maximum weight of bot should not be exceed 6 kg.

2. Bot should be designed according to arena.

3. Bot should be controlled manually.

4. If the control of bot is wireless, then bot must at least have a four frequency remote
control circuit to avoid frequency interference with other teams.

5. Maximum 12v DC power supply can be used.

6. We will give 220v AC on board power supply. 12v DC power supply should be
arranged by the team itself. Team can use adapters or batteries.

ARENA FOR ROBO-ROMEO-

PHASE -1: Qualifying round.

1.Entering the bot in arena from entrance.

2.Bot has to climb a 30 degree inclined plane.

3.Now bot will pass through a bridge having 15 cm. gap.

4.Bot picks the soldiers & puts them into the pit.

PHASE -2: Semi final round.

 1. In this phase a rotating shaft is introduced rotating at 10 to 15 rpm.

2. Everything will remain same as in phase1.

PHASE- 3: Final round.

 1. In this phase we introduce a rotating shaft at 10 rpm at some
distance from the entrance. And at last we introduced a flower
which has to place in a pit near the princes.

2. Soldiers & flower are simple toys which are of height 10 to 12

cm.
