The Best wishes on the occasion of the Lunar New Year!

First of all, on behalf of National Olympic Committee of Vietnam and

Hanoi All Sports Federation, I warmly welcome the holding of the Pony

Baseball Asia Pacific Zone Baseball Tournament (PBAPZBT) 2011 to be

held from the 13th - 16th January 2011 in Vinh Phu province which is

followed by 4 countries across the Asia Pacific region. They are including

Singapore, Philipines, Vietnam and Indonesia.

On behalf of Vietnam NOC and local organizing committee, I would

like to say welcome from Vietnam and Vinh Phu province to all participants

both from Hanoi Baseball club and foreign countries, and delegates from

Japan, USA, Korea, Taiwan, and Russia. It is part of our honor to be the host

of the Pony Baseball Asia Pacific Zone Mustang Division Baseball

Tournament 2011. I hope this event would bring a good chance to show the

international world that Vietnam is a warm, enjoyable and friendly country.

This tournament is a very important one for Vietnam in the process of

preparation for bidding to be the host of 18th Asian Games in the year of

2019, in Hanoi.

Wish all of you a happy time in Vietnam and in the beautiful city of

Vinh Phuc. Let Baseball develop in Vietnam and Asia.
