Dear (cra) Authorized Agent:

Recently I contacted your company for the purposes of disputing the accuracy for the
tradeline identified as ****account****.In a credit report sent to my
Attention I find that the report continues to indicate the same late payment
History for a period of time well after the account was paid in full.

As you can clearly see from a review of the file, the account in question was
“Paid- In- Full” as of ******date***.Yet,the account history indicates that the account
was delinquent in******date(s)*** a period of time after the account was closed and
fully paid out.

I find it wholly absurd if not a laughable attempt to mislead me,by simply reporting
that this information was verified.

In review of the Equifax “Agreement of Assurances”, I have noted that one of

The provisions of this document directly pertains to the type of situation noted
Herein.Specifically, I note the section of the “Agreement” which reads in pertinent
part:

WHEREAS,Equifax and the States want to ensure that consumers are treated fairly
and that the process by which information is disputed and corrected is accessible and
comprehensible to consumers:

B. In connection with the furnishing of Consumer Reports,Equifax will comply

With the FCRA and will:

iv. Accepting the Consumer’s version of the disputed information and

correcting or deleting the disputed item(s),when the Consumer submits
to Equifax documentation confirming that the disputed information on
the consumer report was inaccurate or incomplete…

I find it deplorable that Equifax continues to report delinquent history that allegedly
occurred after the account was closed.Equifax should know better than to permit this
type of conduct in this reporting of information about consumers.

I expect that your immediate attention to this matter will quickly resolve this conflict.

Sincerely,
