CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION
1.1 Overview:
This is about 3D modeling, which is one of part in multimedia. For this project need to
design of mosque Al-Azim situated at Malacca. That is a big and extremely project
because need to model the mosque to the closet details with the real mosque. The texture
of mosque also the extremely thing to do because of the mosque they use marmar on the
floor and also at the wall at the front of the mosque, first need to decide what is actually
need to use when do in texture part. On this project need go to the mosque and do the
research about the mosque. First of all need a blue print of the mosque because need to
know the measure of the mosque before model. The main point to do this project is to
show people the mosque using 3D without go to that place, base on screen, people feel
like look at the real mosque.

• Model to the closet details
• Texture the interior and exterior.
• Show the front view first, side and top of the mosque.
• Show the environment.
1.5 Conclusion
3D modeling is important now, because of people can interact to the real environment
without go to the site. Some people want to save the budget, and maybe because of
distance people just look the model of the mosque only, besides that government of
Malacca can show to people about the state mosque. That is one way to interact people to
visit to Malacca, because Malacca is the historical city, visit Malacca means visit
Malaysia. Hope this model shown the culture of Malaysian and people can know the
detail about the mosque also the history about the mosque, that can be one of the place
people can go when visit to Malacca.
